MEET THE TEAM!

Pascale Gherardi

Founder | President

Born in November 19xx in Grenoble, France, Pascale, one of four siblings was always the determined one. From a young age, she exhibited great determination whether it was her years mastering the piano at the conservatory or later assisting the prestigious hotel school, Lesdiguieres. Pascale always seemed to have a plan and clear vision of her next steps. In the mid 90’s, Pascale decides on spending a Summer in St. Barth. That Summer turned into a year and that year turned into a long-lasting love affair with that vibrant island. She sets her eyes on the land of opportunities, where she landed in Rhode Island and eventually worked her way south-bound to NY. With the planets and stars aligned, here is when and where Pascale begins a very important chapter of her life. She begins to cultivate her unparalleled relationships with industry partners and also gains the reputation of being persistent and tenacious, most often fighting for a travel agent’s client’s needs.

Amy St. Just-Pineda

Chief Operating Officer

Amy St. Just-Pineda joined forces with former colleague Pascale in 2009 and has been her “right hand woman” ever since. As a graduate from The Hospitality College at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island, she received hands-on training in all facets of the hospitality industry. She started her career over 20 years ago at RIHGA Royal Hotel in New York City, where she maintained positions as Front Office Manager, Concierge, Night Manager and VIP Client Manager. Amy’s next venture was as Group Sales Coordinator at Preferred Hotels & Resorts. After her time at Preferred, Amy began her years in the luxury wholesale side where she & Pascale met and worked together for 12 years. Amy is a true Virgo- honest, super-organized and a true friend. With her expertise and commitment to perfection, Amy ensures that VBP is always running smoothly. What you may not know about Amy is that she is a fierce salsa dancer (has been dancing since in the womb like every true Puerto Rican), loves a good romance book, and the bond with her family is everything to her. She currently resides in Westchester County with her husband & 2 beautiful daughters

Reina Silva-Gonzalez

Director of Marketing

Reina was born and raised in the Philippines and moved to New York at the age of fourteen. She hated her new home at first but now wouldn’t trade it for the world. Reina is the youngest of 3 children and the only girl (hence the name, translating to queen in Spanish). She initially went to college to be a nurse but found her true calling in the hospitality. She spent the last ten years working at different properties in New York City where she learned the gamut in Operations and Sales & Marketing. Reina was always intrigued with learning another side of the industry so as luck would have it, our paths crossed and she was shortly after hired to join the sales team at VBP. Reina says that joining VBP is easily one of the best decisions she’s made – and the feeling is mutual. This Sagittarian resides in Queens Village, NY with her husband, 3 year old son and mother. She enjoys spending her free time with her family & friends, DIY projects and has a passion for event planning.

Diane Archina

Luxury Travel Consultant

Bronx born and bred, Diane started her career in travel nearly 40 years ago in a retail agency before eventually moving to the wonderful world of wholesale. After taking a pause to raise her two daughters, Diane returned to life in the travel world and most recently joined the VBP family in June 2019. Although she considers the Bavarian Alps her favorite vacation, Diane also has a weak spot for Mexico. Self-described as being “the center of my world”, her new grandson along with her 2 daughters are her everything. Like any Italian-American mother, Diane looks forward to feeding her family especially with her famous Christmas cookie varieties. Her free time is also spent crocheting and going to see the latest movie with friends.

Veronica Calle

Luxury Travel Consultant

From the word “HOLA”, this energetic addition to the VBP team originally from vibrant Medellin exudes confidence and joy. Veronica fell in love with travel at a very young age thanks to her dad, a pilot back home in Colombia. Her curious mind was always attracted to learning about different cultures and discovering unknown land. When her path led her to the U.S, Veronica met her mentor when she became a well-rounded travel advisor in Miami, Florida. After a few years and also looking for a challenge, Veronica joined the VBP team in June 2019. Veronica bursts when she hears Latin music of any kind! She’s “last one standing” at any party. Her Aquarian traits resonate when she finds herself at home relaxing with her husband with a chilled glass of Rosé watching a good movie.
